Game Recap:
Personally, I think that both teams played a physical game, although Greece was better at hiding it. Greece 2 meter player was a significant force in front of the cage and Netherlands zone defense was less than sufficient to contain her. Netherlands lacked precision on their power plays, which I think could have been countered by better use of their time outs. If I’m not mistaken, Netherlands did not use one. Netherlands needed more patience with the ball. Greece is scheduled to play Friday against USA, and also Netherlands will face Kazakhstan. |
