COVID-19 UPDATE – July 3, 2020

We are sorry to announce that we must indefinitely postpone the 2020 Water Polo Combine. Per our refund policy this year, all registered and paid athletes will receive a full registration refund.

We are making this announcement with great disappointment knowing how important our event could have been to the recruiting aspirations of you and your children. However, the current trending of pandemic conditions in the United States gives us too great of a concern for bringing athletes and parents together in the manner needed to operate a truly value-added event. Our program draws athletes and parents from 17 different states. Many will travel by plane and many will – this year – travel from and through states with increasingly concerning pandemic conditions. We’d then be bringing everyone together in an indoor facility for up to three days for close contact activity. We understand that there are differing views of the risks that the virus presents and further understand that there is a good deal of risk that attendees assume when attending athletic events in general. But, no matter how we looked at this, we simply could not with a clear conscience see a safe, manageable path forward. We just felt that the potential health risks – known and unknown – were too great. We hope that you understand.

With this said, it is still our mission and our desire to find ways to help athletes connect with coaches during this difficult time. We have some ideas we are working toward this end and will announce them as they develop. Until then thank you very much for wanting to be a part of the Water Polo Combine.
