Re: 2023 CIF SoCal Girls Water Polo Championship - Division I
I have seen this on multiple fronts; out of District transfers. One of my children played on a Super Public where 3 star players were out of District plus a couple more were in District but were slated for other High Schools. Coaches had nothing to do with it; strictly parent driven. Keep in mind it...

Re: 2023 Season
USC - Stanford a great game to watch as 2 heavyweights trading punches with Stanford getting the last one with 10secs left, 11-10. It seems there is USC and Stanford, then everyone else as their level of play is that much higher. However, there is a lot of season left for things to change.

Re: Open/D1 predictions
Not sure how much credibility I put into a Summer HS Girls Tournament. Laguna (Mostly SET Club I think) beat MD 16-1. Bishops/Shores beats MIramonte by 1 then Laguna beats Bishops/Shores by 10. Players missing due to vacation, Club, other USAWP events? It's Summer HS Polo and I don't really care, I ...

Re: Open/D1 predictions
I was able to watch Miramonte a lot in person this year and they were a well oiled machine loaded with juniors and seniors. While I’ve only watched Foothill and OLu on stream, I just think Miramonte would win by 4-5 goals against either team. Either way, all 3 of these teams had amazing seasons and...

Re: Kap 7 Tournament- Feb 4-5
I never justified the behaviors, just explained the realities. Yes, limited pools which also means limited referees and limited knowledgeable table workers. What we do have control over is our wallet and our attendance. If the parents come back and say that was a miserable experience never to be do...

Re: Texas
Tough crowd Congrats to Brazoswood (boys) and Richmond Foster (girls) for winning the inaugural state championships. Yes, Congrats to Brazoswood & Richmond Foster!! Texas, like Florida, has always stumped me as to why there are not more Club teams. Big State's, warm, lots of pools, lots of swim...

Re: Mater Dei falling Apart.
I don't see MD falling apart, just a valley for the time being. They will come back. I think MD Girls have had success when they were in D2. But the SM teams (+ Santiago) were just a bit better and got in the way of Championships. When the Privates moved to D1 in 2014, things changed now that you ar...

Re: USWP Failed US All.
This very important piece of news was announced 2 weeks ago and am happy for the victims that they now have justice. This is a reminder to all, parents, players and coaches, how we must teach our youth what is proper behavior, boundaries, open communication without shame, reassure them they won't ge...

Re: 2022 Season
Not that anyone cares about the NWPC...but St. Francis (#3) crushed Harvard (#2) 13-8 in a "stunning" upset. Along these same lines if anyone cares but Redlands beat ("upset") both CMS and PP to make it to the SCIAC Championship vs CLU who beat Occidental in 4OT's. Congratulatio...

Worst defense I’ve seen them play in a while - Maurizi getting shelled in cage with no help
Yes on that 14th USC goal, the replay showed a UCLA defender on the 5 with both hands in the water.
