2021 Season

Postby jeff » Thu Jul 29, 2021 12:09 am

I heard that Alika Naone has transferred to UCLA. I don't know whether he will have to sit out a year.

One of our colleagues informs me that Alika Naone has transferred to Long Beach State, not UCLA. He has also heard that Zach Frazier from Oaks Christian will join Naone at Long Beach State.

Interesting, also heard rumor UCSB has picked up a top player.

Wow

That's a big pick up for either UCLA or LBSU and, I would think, a blow to Cal

If he ends up at LBSU, that would bring him together with Cooper Haddad and Quinton Osborne which makes for a formidable threesome that could start for any of the big four

Yes, that would be a big addition for Long Beach.

Haha...you said what we are all thinking but are afraid to say.

In fact, I have no idea why LBSU isn't a favorite to win the championship almost every year. They are in socal, have essentially no gpa requirement for admission and will basically take any player regardless of past attitude or behavioral issues.

Quinten Osborne is no longer playing water polo.

Well, sorry for "shocking" your world...but I'm fairly confident you'll be fine.

I heard that Cal, UCLA, UCSB and Irvine played each other last weekend in trial games but I can't see any results anywhere.

Cal, Stanford, UCLA, UCSB, UCI, SJSU, Davis all played 3 days of scrimmages in NorCal a week ago.

I did not see Alika Naone playing for CAL or UCLA that weekend, but he does appear on the LBSU NL roster. He looked great at CAL in their short season.

results are on the fosh. under their club names. SBP had a blue and Black team. the Blue is their A team. lots of close games.
