Lol

you obviously havent been around here very long. Its not the games that matter, its whether or not Trevor likes your team...

Didn't you get the hint when he didn't even cover the Rodeo Tournament in his weekly article, but did a sweet review of the DIII Easterns in which JHU won the championship game 24-6. Really close game deserving of some publicity.

In other news, the biggest game this upcoming comes between Iona and your FORDHAM RAMS!!!!!!!!

Huge matchup. Screw top 20 teams. Fordham and Iona baby! I live for this!!!

Trevors articles are due at the NCAA Sunday. Trevor lives in New York and there are rarely any score updates and/or writeups available until late Sunday night.

He would love to have game reports from those of you on the west coast who are at the games. Spend the time sending him a couple of game recaps rather than trashing him on the message board...seems a lot more productive.

I remember the days when NCAA water polo was lucky to get more than a single write up a season, on any media outlet. And it always started with a question about 'Where's the horses?'

We fans should be estatic that Trevor even has the opportunity to do what he does. (Not too mention the weekely radio show!)

Name any other sport where a single professional media rep. covers over 100 (men/women combined) teams, alone. If you look at the past articles Trevor has written...there's clearly a bias towards top 20 teams...I can't think of a single article where a top 20 team wasn't mentioned. And this makes sense...obviously the best teams deserve to be covered the most.

The fact that he finds the space to occiasionally throw in news about the other 80% of college programs only makes his work more respectable, and more beneficial for the sport.

I can't imagine Trevor get's paid much, if anything, for these weekely articles, and I'm guessing the weekly radio show is a volunteer effort. We should be fortunate that there's at least one person who's making this effort to cover college water polo in an official and professional capacity.

There are a few others...see Twitter...who are stepping up as well, but I can't think of any single individual who's done as much for water polo from a media standpoint that Trevor Freeman has done in the last 2-3 years.

Thanks Trevor...keep up the great work!

This is a really great idea! I did not realize that Trevor was on the East coast. I, for one, will take up the suggestion and drop Trevor a line about games that I attend.

Also Talking Water Polo is on Facebook. If you use that social networking site, share the Podcast link with friends that might be interested, but have not heard the weekly show. Spread the word. These guys do a great job, and it is always fun to listen to their Monday show.

High five...three cheers...pat on the back...big thank you!

I read all your articles, I listen to your show, I am very appreciative of all you do for water polo, Trevor. I've been around water polo as a fan long enough to remember when the only way you could find out the score of a game you weren't at was to hope the guy sitting next to you (at some game you were attending) knew somebody who was at some other game and could call that person and ask them. Maybe you got some scores over the PA. There was no "coverage".

Thanks again, Trevor. Keep up the good work.
