Re: Simulation Penalty Rule Change
see for some it is the only way they will ever score... those are the the types that enjoy this behavior. If it is the first offensive player back you are right, when it is the 4-5th in transition, it should be a no call. Offensive player had the advantage, he should not be rewarded for "Simula...

Re: Simulation Penalty Rule Change
Good point. So much holding, coaches always telling players they need to show the ref that they are being held. Hate to see that called for simulation but at the same time you see a ton of acting in the 16 and 18U age groups. I would love to see the transition exclusions stop. When the offensive pla...

Re: Futures Super Finals
Yes, First real look at most JO teams and quite a few upsets. 16U 680 had a bad run (lost to SET and La Jolla early on), Vanguard did not impress (lost to Mission and Set), Santa Barbara almost upset CCU and beat SET , Del Mar looked horrible on day one but then won the tournament. Mission looked go...

Should be some good games and a good warm up for JO's for some of the top programs.

Re: 2022 Quals
it is because only 9 entered. All entries were due. Coastal CA got 13 spots and had 13 entries. The Championship allocations only changed a little but he classic division seems to have room as only 39 of 48 spots are being used. I am guessing some decided they would rather go to Texas.

Re: 2022 NJO Qualifications
curious why you are limiting to 5 zones when there are 13?

this is updated info on coastal zone allocation and the championship stops at 7 but you have 9 CCA spots

Re: 2022 NJO Qualifications
Can anyone help me with this question? So this past weekend at CCA quals there were multiple teams from "Channel Islands" which apparently was formed by combining SB Premiere, Gold Coast and Tritons I believe. It seems like their "A" team was SB Premiere, "B" was Gold ...

Re: Class of 2022 commits
For sure all of that is mostly true but I have seen a couple posts not added to the WPP list. There are some hidden in the posts that are not added to the list as well. Here are a few I have seen that are not listed. Navy Thomas Leggett, Oaks Christian, possible gap year? Pride, now CCU? Pep. MIlo J...

Re: Fisher Cup 2022
I enjoyed the couple games I was able to watch. The NYAC VS Olympic Club game was great. No, my kids are not old enough to play! I enjoyed watching future, current and past collegiate athletes compete against each other, mixed in with Olympians and Olympic hopefuls. If you don't like it, you don't h...

Re: 16U boys JO's predictions
Here are the Southern California Futures 16U final rankings. Note, a few teams I know for sure, CDM, PV, Pride, have been moving their 16's up when both 16's and 18's play on the same day and are much weaker on those days. So, I am guessing they will do the same for Jo's so you can move them down th...

Re: 16U boys JO's predictions
I know a few might bring in 18U who will be attending their college next year to bolster a line up. But I am on the 16U thread speaking of 16U teams bringing in foreign players to take make a bad team competitive. So a team gets crushed all season long, then miraculously displaces a top seed at JO Q...

Re: 16U boys JO's predictions
Hearing that there will be tons of international players coming in this year. All the best to the USA kids who start and contribute all seasons for their clubs only to watch from the bench at JO's.
