Assuming that HW and JSerra will be the 4/5 seeds. Won’t they play each other?

Convincing win for Bishop’s. I have thought all year that they and Cathedral were the top teams in San Diego and it looks like it will come down to them now.

Orange County and San Diego County have just about the same populations.

Papanikolaou 5 goals on 5 shots with 10 dex. Wow.

Papanikolaou is the best player in college I think this definitely solidifies it.

Agree. He was the best player last year also.

UCSB gives up 12-7 halftime lead and loses 14-13 to Cal.

Ormsby definitely has them on the rise. I think that they will win it all in 2023.

It’s a strong academic school that is tough to get in to Is it though? They accept half the kids that apply and charge $76k/year. https://www.scu.edu/financialaid/cost-of-attendance/ Wow that's a nice chunk of change. I did go through a few layers, on that link you pasted and I found a place that s...

Except Jfran is accurate with his assessments. I think those who know would generally agree. The comment that got jumped on was completely out of context so it deserved all the razzing that it got. I agree. JFran’s comments always seem to be very fair, pretty spot on and do not single out a sponge ...

Re: Top 15 Teams - 2021

I never knew that Maxpreps did rankings for water polo. I assume that it is some sort of computer derived list. https://www.maxpreps.com/rankings/water-polo/1/state/california.htm # School Ovr. Rating Str. +/- 1 Huntington Beach 15-2 34.3 22.4 +1 2 Mater Dei (Santa Ana) 9-1 34.2 23.7 -1 3 Newport Ha...

I am not following. JSerra crushed SM 13-5 and SM impressed you and JSerra did not? Was the score not indicative of how the teams played?

Re: 2021 CIFSS D1 Thread

I think that’s right but I don’t think HW can be in the clear separation group since they lost to OLu. But they have a high ceiling with just a slightly lower floor than the top 3. The favorites: 1. Mater Dei 2. Newport 3. HB The Hopefuls: 4. Harvard Westlake The Dreamers: OLu, JSerra, Bishops, Cat...
