That "smallish" player you refer to was not taken on by Watson, and a whole backstory exists of why he eventually was taken on.... and eventually quit.

I think Watson has learned from what had to be a humbling experience, being beat by the kids who he deemed to small to compete. He has since recruited more for talent than size. Good for him and San Jose. Now they are a better team. As for the losses look at the first two years Watson was the coach....

It would help to know what the roster size is aiming to be. If the min number of players on the roster is 9 my team and strategy would look a bit different from a roster of 24.

Foreign players are not just a main component of Div. 1 water polo but also are throughout the division 2 and division three and even the Junior college teams, now - even high school teams are using exchange students to bolst...
