Re: USC vs PACIFIC thread

Everything went right for USC today, UOP couldn't stop them on offense and then add in the fact that UOP draws 15 ejections and couldn't convert them into goals that spells blowout. Tomasevic and Obert we're winning the battle at 2m, but Erdeyli wasn't making the shots he normally makes. Also, you ...

Re: USC vs PACIFIC thread

USC wins 18-13. Both the first and third place games will have huge meaning tomorrow. After this game, USC (two to UCLA, one to Pacific and one to Stanford), Pacific (two to USC, one to UCLA, one to Stanford) and Stanford (two to Pacific, one to USC and one to UCLA) are all knotted at four losses. U...

Re: USC vs PACIFIC thread

Yeah they are. Wow. I thought USC might come out more desperate and score the victory. I did not expect this.

Re: USC vs PACIFIC thread

I agree. Best performance I have seen from USC this year. Pacific is going to have to tackle this deficit in increments. Try to get the deficit down to two by the end of the third.

Re: Pacific Tigers Ranked #1

Right now its not unanimous in my opinion. Three teams can make an argument for number 1. Maybe thats a good thing... I think you are right...in the larger scheme of things, it is a good thing. When was the last time someone outside the big 4 held the number one spot? Maybe UCI several years back? ...

Re: New Format for 2013 NCAA Men's Finals

Huge win by Pacific today over USC which will likely have a huge positive impact on their NCAA hopes. At 3-1 in the MPSF with their games against the "Big Four" out of the way, one would think they stand a solid chance of possibly grabbing the top seed in the MPSF Tournament. Kudos to the ...

Re: SoCal Tournament This Weekend

Here are my thoughts from the tourney. USC - the champs are back! Really impressed with their play, they came from behind vs Pacific and UCLA. Nikola Vavic reminded me that as good as Erdelyi and Bowen are, he still has a case for best player in the nation. Not because he is a great shooter, but be...
