UCI looking for a new coach

Just heard the head coached step down. Any names come to mind who can bring this team back up to its high standard?

Too much on his plate with the national team.

At this point Coach Klatt is the interim head coach for the men’s program. I’m not sure you’re taking into account his passion for UCI waterpolo. As one of the best coaches around, it wouldn’t surprise me if he and his staff jumped in with both feet to try to return the men’s program to the glory days under the old man including giving up his national team duties

Klatt would be a great choice, but each program is better served with it's own coach. Particularly at the DI level. It seems most schools are going in that direction.

Doubtful the school is willing to put up the resources for a commitment like that. They should commit more as it's a hot bed for talent.

It's pretty much a given by now, that the job is Klatt's to keep if he wants it.
