Is there a hope for a quality stream for the NCAA?

By quality, I mean high Def with an announcer! Outside of the great job UOP did a while back with their tourney, it has been a disaster, a complete insult to the sport. Why not ask one of the crews that does HWL, MD or Ponahu? They never have tech issues and one can actually see what is happening in the pool.

Don't you mean ANY live stream of the games? There is nothing on UCSDtritons.com, NCAA tournament page of live streaming of the games, just how to buy advance tickets. UCSD actually does a great job of live streaming alot of there sports ( 1080 and good sound )
If they sellout the advance tickets, they might deside to live stream the games. You can keep checking USCDtritons.com/fanzone/live events for updates. This is a payed for game site, so if it shows up you will want to pre register.

I went there first and when i went to EVENTS for Dec 6 & Dec 7, they had 4 for Sat and 0 for Sun. None of them where waterpolo.

The list of events under "Live Streaming Fall Championships" shows polo on the 6th and 7th, but you are correct that "Live Events" link under "Video" does not. I'm hoping the schedule isn't fully updated yet. Time will tell.

We can only hope that the NCCA will not be providing the live stream after the terrible job they did at Stanford. I would rather pay for the UCSD live events thru there department. As a side note, it would be great if UCSD could live stream the play in game for the East coast parents for the Brown game. I have no player on either team, but it is Thanksgiving weekend, how about a little giving.

I heard the video for CWPA champs was good. I think they charged something like $10 per game, or flat fee for the whole tournament.

I'd pay for good streamed video of all the NCAA games, and yes, that is a blatant hint for some internet entrepreneur . . . . .

I talked to some of the men at UCSD that are home for Thanksgiving and will be going back on Friday morning. They said that UCSD will be live streaming with 2 to 3 camaras, but don't now who will be comitating for the games. So keep checking the UCSD site.

I just checked the UCSDtriton.com site / fanezone / live events and they will be streaming the UCSD vs Brown game on Saturday. good time to register and watch the game to see the quality before buying the hole NCAA package.

Was it just me, or did the streaming video feed from UCSD disappear about 5 minutes before game time?

It did but it picked up once the game started. Awesome.

I googled it and there is a youtube video of it from golivepolo. It's not the same feed that was broadcast by UCSD and there is no sound. I found the same video on totalwaterpolo.com.

The sound comes in at the 16 min 15 second mark. Had some issues up until that point. Was a one man show on Saturday, but felt it was important to get the game up there.
