Did you not see Papanikolaou at set kick the ball to himself and send a back hand to the back of the net? Think it was the 3rd period

Oh yes, totally. What an awesome move that was!
Shot of the game for sure!
I was just referring to the fact hat neither Papa, nor Avakian were in at the start of the game. He didn't put either one in until he was down like 4 goals or something. And by that point the Waves were all fired up and had the momentum. He then put Avakian in, but the kid was still obviously in pain and not at 100% he was struggling to get out of the pool and walking gingerly, still got ejections and a penalty though. Then he put Papa in but I felt that of he had put him in from the start, it would have been a different game.
To be clear, I'm not saying Cal didn't put the centers in for the whole game, just the beginning.

Thankfully I wasn't amongst "clean-up" this go around. Not sure a "big thank you" to the Moderator was necessary....but then again, without actually witnessing what the "clean-up" was...maybe I should steer clear of this one.

CAL @ USC (noon start - streamed)
Stanford @ UCLA (1pm start - streamed)
LBSU @ UCSB (noon start - streamed - Cal transfer for LB made immediate impact in win over UCSD yesterday so this should be a good one)

Agreed. Naone played very well. LBSU v UCSB is going to be very high scoring. BTW Hilde-Jones from UCSD is a wrecking crew. Too bad Kacper is unable to play this year. Would have been quite a tandem.

Cal’s drop to #5 is a bit drastic.

Cal 7 USC 6. Both goalies were incredible and stopped some easy goals. Both defenses played well but both offenses did not. Lots of turnovers and unforced errors. I guess the Cal “home cooking” worked at USC too, right Wphan?

Ridiculous drop. It’ll be interesting how they rank them next Wednesday.

Everest getting a red card after the game was a petty move by the official.

You can get a red card during warm ups and for some very short time after games, like 5 minutes. Makes sense in tournament situations where a coach or player could be banned in some instances from a subsequent game, so it has some sway over their post game conduct. But what is the point of a red card after game has ended in a one off conference game? Is there any consequence to this?

UCLA 8 Stanford 6. Putting the camera behind the net for a stream is a terrible idea.

Unwatchable. I flipped it off until the very end to see who won.
