2016 NJO Discussions

This is probably the better thread to discuss the 2016 NJO's then the Age Group, so I am moving over here and I will repeat my posting here.

Any predictions on outcomes? I saw in some thread I believe Vanguard 12s Socal 14s and 16s and LA Premier 18s on the boys side.

Can't believe we are two weeks away with no schedules or even templates yet. C'mon already.

Does anyone know if LA Premiere's center will be playing 14u (I believe he often plays up). If he is, they can compete with both Vanguard and SoCal.

I believe he played 14U in USCC this past weekend. No idea if he's playing with them in JOs. I have no affiliations with LA Premier, I just noticed they had a big kid at 2 meter I don't remember seeing at County Cup so I assume he's the one you're referring to. They also had a kid previously with Rosebowl this past weekend.

How about their goalie. Arguably the best in the 14u age group.

*I have no affiliation with LAP either - just observations from seeing them play a few times. I have never seen both the center and the goalkeeper in the pool at the same time.

I am not sure there is any argument...SoCal goalie is good, Riverside goalie is good...but LAP goalie is a game changer.

Okay, since we're on the subject of LA Premier. I noticed awhile back they have had a couple of the kids from Midvalley for awhile now and I haven't seen Midvalley in many of the recent tournaments. Midvalley had a pretty good 12U team the last couple years and it was odd to kind of see them fall off the map as they're typically well represented in a majority of the tournaments we attend. Any idea what happened to that program, at least in the 14U age group? I did see a younger girls team recently so they must still be active as a club.

you're right mid valley 12uB have been strong for the last 3 years. All under coach Davit who is now at ORWP now. Other than that, I feel there 14u boys should be very strong at the moment, but i think the good players drift to LA premiere and rose bowl
