Cozy Boys apparently starting off the tournament by winning 29-0. Classy.

No class at all! (But not surprised with this group of young men.) I'm sure the joy of hard work and committment is lost (or meaningless) on the CB Team... but enjoy your wins.

I am not sure what you are trying to say here. Are you questioning hard work and commitment to the game of water polo for the CB young men?
Yes, they worked hard for many years to be who they are.

This is NJO 18U !!!!!!! If you want your kids to get participation ribbons, join the rec league, I heard its pretty "classy" there :)

SwimCoach - how was that Vanguard White/CC United game? Score aside, was it a close game?

I take it that you have a son getting Cozy with the Boys?

Regardless of the tournament, there's unwritten rules and common decency to not blow out another team, there's simply no need for that.

So what are your feelings about the rest of the top 10 who posted big margin victories on day 1? Everyone but the number 2 seed posted large margins.

Not as extreme as 29-0
Really the only other team that blew away their opponent is Vanguard, which is not a surprise either.

Class has nothing to do with the score at the end but how players carried themself with sportsmanship, respect to others, from the coaches down to the players ...no taunting no celebration excessively wich I don't see from CB or VSW when they scored on a weaker team, but { see a lot off celebration from the losing team when they score against a far more superior team.

Apparently my last retort was too direct and it was taken down. The Dynamo game could have been 40-0. Guess what team came to watch UCB play and cheer for them? Including their coaches. They had NO PROBLEM with the score. They wanted to come here and compete.
