Your initial comment stated that you thought that USAWP should change the allocations to allow more Coastal or Sopac teams in the championship. Then you’re saying you’re happy being in Classic and winning...I’m confused, which is it?

Every year I definitely think to myself that the teams that’s finish in the top 3 in Classic are probably top 30 teams for sure.

I would agree, wether winning the Platinum, gold, silver, bronze, nickel or copper divisions the kids, parents and coaches are happy and proud. To me it is relative to where they are at competitively.

- The 1st is the 2019 summary results for the 12-18U Boys and then a summary of what top teams had multiple teams place in the top 12. The totals are the points I assigned for each place and totaled up for each age group team and then the Clubs.
- The 2nd is a chart of the Boys/Girls top six point teams from each NJO (these are the colored cells). Once a club is on the list I add their points even if they are outside the top 6. You can see what Clubs that have been consistently in the top 6 at the NJO's.

Agree that this is very interesting but you seem to be missing some data from Greenwich--for example I know that the current 14 team won bronze two years ago and also came in 7th as as 10u team. Not that it changes the story, just bumps us up a few points.

So this method results in Vanguard being the top ranked club on the boys side if you look at results since Sasa et al created the club in 2013, or over the past 5 years, or over the past 3 years. I don't think the results from "Vanguard Red" since they moved under the Vanguard banner last year would have generated any points on the boys side under jlweath's system, but not certain. Should be interesting to see if Vanguard can also start to build a strong program on the girls side with the good showing for their 12u girls this year.
