Re: 2021-22 CIF SS Div 2
San Juan (ranked 2) over Yucaipa (ranked 1) 7-6 at SJH. Good, physical game where I don’t believe either team ever had more than a 1 goal lead. Edison (ranked 4) with the win over Huntington Beach earlier this week. Haven’t seen Glendora (#3) in person but Yucaipa beat them by 15 a couple weeks ago when Glendora was ranked #1 and they haven’t played the same level of competition as the other three. If I had a vote, I would rank the top 5 as San Juan, Yucaipa, Edison, Ventura, and Glendora. Should be an entertaining playoffs this year.

Re: 2021-22 CIF SS Div 2
Big game today between San Juan Hills and Edison who are currently in a three-way tie along with Yucaipa for top seed in CIF rankings. Edison won a one goal game against San Juan at a tourney in December but then lost by three recently to Yucaipa. San Juan has a recent one goal win at home over Yucaipa and just lost a heartbreaker yesterday to San Clemente 15-13 in the Southcoast league championship game. Yucaipa, Edison, and San Juan have really challenged themselves schedule wise with many games against Division 1 teams. Glendora (large loss to Yucaipa, loss to San Juan last weekend), Ventura, Los Osos, Canyon and others are also capable teams who have had excellent seasons. This should be a great game today and an exciting CIF for D-2.

Re: 2021-22 CIF SS Div 2
Edison had three big wins this week and might just do the trick for getting that #1 seed in Div 2. Brand new pool also to start CIF at home.
Crucial win for Edison over SJH, where SJH had two losses this week, one being a tough one to San Clemente.
Yucaipa had two easier league game this week which they won both, but probably not enough to secure 1st seed
Can't wait to see that need Edison pool deck. Always great to go see a new facility for the first time

I think it will go Yucaipa, Edison, San Juan Hills. Yucaipa just beat Edison by 3 so tough to argue that Edison should leap frog them to No.1. All three have played tough schedules including several D-1 games. Not a lot of separation between them so it should be a very good tourney.
