New Water Polo Team in Columbia, S.C.

Hey everyone, I have little experience in water polo but swam/trained for short triathlons and have played other sports like lacrosse and basketball. I would love to get better at swimming while playing a sport so I want to learn to play the sport and start a club. I have been looking into starting a water polo club in SC in a relatively sparse area for the sport. In fact, I feel like many sports are limited in options for adults in the area. If anyone has any advice or connections in starting a club I am open to suggestions. This may include the best ways to secure a pool, equipment, recruit players, and other considerations?
