US Swimming will be holding a series of 1 day clinics on how to build or renovate a competition pool. Since 2004, this group has been involved in building over 100 facilities nationwide and the 1 day clinic gives you all the tools you need to get started. There are a lot of shared resources they give out that will save considerable time and money if you have begun to think about building a new facility.
The class fee is $50 and you must be a member of US Swimming but it is an exceptional class and well worth the cost

2010 Regional BAP Conferences
"Plan It - Program It - Design It"
As of April 2009, we have conducted 5 National Build a Pool Conferences. To date we estimate this conference has been an important part of over 65 new facilities being commissioned since 2004. It has also played a secondary role in over 100 additional projects. Our professioanl providers have played a MAJOR part in these successes.
We have decided to make an effort to take the Build a Pool Conference to the regional level so our clubs and projects have a more economical option to acquire information. These 1 day 8 hour events (or a day and a half, 12 hour events) will be conducted by our Facilities Development Department staff.
