Great game between #1 Norcal West Valley and #1 SocalGolden West for the state title. West Valley clawed their way back to make it a very interesting game. 12-10 Win for Golden West

Fun fact:
The year 2000 was the last time someone other than LBCC, West Valley or Golden West College has won the State Championship. Since then Golden West has won 13 times, West Valley 4 times, Long Beach 4 times.
