The Fosh

The Fosh, while not always 100% accurate, is a huge lifeline to water polo fans! But I find it difficult to use and thought we could start a thread on how to use it better. For example, how can you see all games for a specific team or stats for a single player?

Trophy - If the trophy appears, you can view all the games that occurred at that tournament
Live Play by Play - See scrolling action, roster, roster stats

What tips do you have for using The Fosh??

You can see these things in the CB app. CB is being used by a few conferences this year.

Unfortunately, "The Fosh" is only as good as the dope who happens to be working the desk that day....and we already know how reliable that is.

Thanks for starting this thread. I am always open to feedback on how we can make the experience better for fans.

As for the team/player stats - some coaches are protective of their stats. This is changing, and most teams do post their stats on the school web site. The teams are our customers, and we need to walk a fine line between what they want and what fans want.

just wanted to say many thanks to @UMtoHU for the FOSH.. it often is Family/Friends only way to follow our Players during away games/tournaments..idk if it's doable, but a listing of all the Games (for that particular day (esp).. would be a HUGE upgrate!

We've added team-specific pages with their schedule and roster (no stats, yet). You can click the little circle icon next to a team's name to see their complete schedule.

Suggestion: Can you disable the "Boom goes the dynamite" canned phrases for goals and just list the stats without the superlatives? Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. Is it just the nba jam reference you don't like or is it all of the variation on the play-by-play?

It's the NBA jam stuff - player xyz steals the ball / player xyz swipes the ball is small and non-distracting - the bigger superlatives take away from the feed
