Haven’t seen this talked about anywhere here… Pro Recco beat VK Novi Beograd in penalties yesterday in the championship match. Hallock had a huge natural goal to tie the game 12-12 late in the 4th. The live stream of the games was great.

I can only hope that people watched this game — just a fantastic display of how fun water polo is to watch at its best. Live stream and commentating were great and the game was everything you would want in this environment.

Hallock might just be the best center in the world with Dusko Pijetlovic having retired from Olympic play (although Pijetlovic had a great game as well in this game). Hallock gets position and draws exclusions like no other and of course Recco can capitalize on those 6 on 5 scenarios. Team USA just needs to figure out this path to success with a center like Hallock.
